Yulia States Lab Tests Prove Poisoning Occurred Behind Bars

Yulia Navalnaya has announced that a pair of overseas laboratories determined her late husband was poisoned, following analysis of biological samples secretly smuggled out of Russia.

The opposition leader, 47, passed away abruptly on February 16, 2024 while detained in a high-security jail located north of the Arctic Circle, where he had been condemned to many years behind bars.

Supporters of the activist have frequently alleged the Russian government of being behind his killing—claims that Moscow have denied as unfounded. Government representatives insist that he passed from natural causes.

Yulia Navalnaya, who currently resides outside Russia, posted a recording in which she revealed that evidence from her husband was taken out of the country in the same year and analyzed by two separate laboratories.

She asserted, “Both facilities in separate nations arrived at the identical verdict: Alexei was assassinated. To be precise, he was given poison.”

Initially, the prison authorities claimed that Navalny “became ill after a walk and collapsed”.

Navalny's death is reminiscent of prior attacks attributed to the Moscow, such as the fatal attack of Alexander Litvinenko in London in 2006 and the toxic attack on former spy Sergei Skripal in 2018.
