Several Detentions Carried Out Following Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Pictures Displayed on Windsor Castle
Four men were arrested following visuals featuring Donald Trump and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto the historic castle on Tuesday, coinciding with the president’s arrival in the UK.
Police Response and Arrests
Local authorities stated that the suspects were arrested on charges related to "public order offenses" after what they referred to as a "public stunt." Those arrested comprised an individual in his sixties from Sussex, a 36-year-old and a 50-year-old from London, and a 37-year-old from Kent.
The force added that law enforcement responded swiftly to stop the display on the castle, where Trump was expected to greet King Charles during his official trip.
Context of the Event
Trump had ties to Jeffrey Epstein during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. So far, he has never been charged with any illegal activity in connection with the late businessman.
This trip follows just a week after the UK's ambassador to the US was dismissed over his association with Epstein.
Early on Wednesday, a van could be seen in the town displaying an image of Trump and Epstein along with the text: "Hello Donald, welcome to Britain."

A significant police operation has been deployed throughout Windsor, with over 1,600 officers assigned to monitor events in central London amid expected demonstrations by protest organizers.
Meanwhile, the president and his wife are set to attend lunch with representatives of the Royal Family, pay respects the tomb of the late queen, and deliver a address at a state banquet.
