The star has handed over the entirety of his twenty-five thousand pound award cash to the trust for venues, which works to save the United Kingdom's grassroots live music spots.
He was presented with the prize on 16 October as his latest record his work was chosen as the top album of the past year.
The musician has opted to give the cash to the trust, in appreciation of the vital role small stages had in his early career.
"I personally couldn't be pursuing what I am doing today if it weren't for all the shows I played around the area, and elsewhere, when I was beginning," stated Fender. "These venues are renowned, but they are struggling."
Since the start of 2023, at least 150 of these locations have shut down – roughly 16% of the whole industry in the UK.
Recently, top acts such as the band Pulp, the group Coldplay, Katy Perry and Sheeran have all aided the MVT in its efforts to keep the scene afloat, by including a small levy to their admission fees, which supports smaller concert halls.
Sam Fender also took part, raising more than £100,000 on his recent tour to support thirty-eight small stages across England, Scotland, and Wales.
These funds assisted venues that were facing potential shutdown due to difficulties caused by water damage, fires and bereavements, as well as licensing issues, court cases and neighbor objections.
Additional spaces obtained monetary aid in modernizing amenities and technical equipment that positively impacted performers and audiences.
"The concept that funds from performances in major spaces helps the local stages, where it all starts for musicians like me, is just sensible," the star has stated.
The musician is far from the only musician to donate his honor winnings to good deeds.

In recent years, Ezra Collective contributed their prize money to the local youth club that nurtured their band, alongside other local music groups.
And 1994 winners they contributed their award to a MS organization after a close contact was diagnosed the illness.
"Receiving the award was quite enough," stated vocalist the singer. "The money was the bonus but we didn't require the bonus, because we had the cake. So our success touched another person's life."
In the past week, the Music Venues Trust shared it had saved two local spots in the South East, by bringing them into public stewardship.
The first in Southampton and the second in Bristol were purchased under the community ownership scheme, which is funded by the arts council and supporters who purchase "stakes" in the buildings.
