Lil Nas X Undergoes Rehab Following Incident Involving Law Enforcement
Grammy-winning performer Montero Lamar Hill is now participating in residential therapy, as stated by his attorneys recently. The news comes after his apprehension last month over multiple allegations entailing physical confrontation plus resisting officers.
Legal Proceedings Discloses Rehabilitation Plan
At a court hearing this week, the artist’s lawyers informed the court that their client was undergoing therapy outside his home state. Presiding Judge Shellie Samuels allegedly authorized him to remain away on condition that he continues in treatment.
“We’re addressing those issues” and “this is a bump that he’s going to get over”, commented his legal team.
History of the Altercation
The encounter occurred in August 21 after Lil Nas X was allegedly moving along a Los Angeles road in his underwear before allegedly advancing toward law enforcement that had stopped him.
The performer has denied the charges to multiple counts of assault against police personnel along with one felony count of opposing an authority figure.

The artist first rose to stardom in the late 2010s due to his historic single “his breakout song,” which topped charts for 19 weeks. Hill subsequently received multiple Grammys.

In the event of a conviction, Hill could receive a maximum of half a decade in jail.
Following the incident, Hill posted a message on online stating, “That was terrifying, although “your girl’s gonna be all right”.
