Los Angeles witnessed citywide celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a franchise has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many displaying handmade banners and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the championship trophy high.

The World Series acted as a bright spot in what has been a trying year for Los Angeles. An approximate quarter-million people attended to the championship parade last year, and according to team member Freddie Freeman, supporters this year showed equal or greater support.
“It seems it’s nearly twice from last year,” Freeman said. “These fans are crazy. It’s truly amazing to be a involved in this.”
