I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
