Contrary to Popular Belief Entirely Deceptions with the Former President – Sometimes He's Unnervingly Candid

The UK television network is scheduling to mark Donald Trump's visit to the UK with what it describes as "the most extensive continuous compilation of untruths, falsehoods and twisted facts ever televised on television". The program, named Trump v The Truth, will present in excess of 100 of Trump's misleading remarks or deceptive statements. Featured among them untrue assertions ranging from the price of eggs to outrageous fabrications about US spending on condoms for Hamas.

Yet, in the interest of balance, it's appropriate to acknowledge that not all statements from the former president is false. At times, Trump proves to be surprisingly astute. Recently, a video spread online depicting Trump telling guests at a event at one of his golf clubs: "Smart people dislike me, you know?" He continued: "They also aren’t pleased with what we address." No falsehoods found there.

Educated folks don’t like me, you know? And they disapprove of what we address.

Furthermore, Trump has expressed his thoughts on the fate of his eternal spirit. Last month, during a Tuesday morning, the ex-leader allegedly remarked that he is trying to halt the war in Ukraine so that God can save him a spot in the afterlife. "I desire to try and reach heaven, if possible," he clarified. "I’m hearing I’m faring poorly. I am really at the base of the ranking." While it's unrealistic to fact-check exactly where Trump ranks on God’s roster, many could concur that his assessment appears spot-on.

Trump has also been blunter about the political process than several of his those who came before. When seeking president in 2015, he plainly stated that he had utilized his money to affect politicians. "I donated to a lot of folks prior to this," he stated at a Republican candidates’ debate. "And you know what, when I need something from them in the future … I reach out. They are available for me. That’s a dysfunctional mechanism." Truer words have never been stated; absolutely not by Trump personally.

Overall, although a great deal of Trump's communication is laden with falsehoods, occasionally when his frankness reveals sobering realities about government, control, and including self-awareness.
